Dahlias have captured the hearts of flowers lovers everywhere. Once established, they are so incredibly productive, pumping out bloom after gorgeous bloom well into the fall. Dahlias have a reputation for being difficult; they are easy to grow but require a bit of knowledge about digging and proper storage, as well as how to divide the tubers to keep your collection growing. Join us for our Growing Dahlias Workshop to gain the confidence to grow your very own dahlia garden.

In this workshop, you will learn how we dig, divide, label, store, plant and grow our dahlias tubers – a process that we’ve established after lots of trial and error over the years. The hands-on demonstration portion will focus on DIVIDING TUBERS. (This is a companion class to our DIGGING dahlias workshop in the Fall.)

All the materials you need are provided. Each guest will leave with dahlia tubers of their own to plant this season! Seats are limited and will fill up quickly.

The workshop is held indoors at our barn which is NOT heated or air conditioned. Aprons are provided, but you will get messy in this class. Please dress accordingly.

Tickets are non-refundable. However, if your plans change + you cannot attend, feel free to give your ticket to a friend and let us know by emailing us here. If we need to cancel the class for any reason, you will receive a full refund. If Bella Terra must cancel a workshop for any reason, you will be promptly notified and refunded.
